When Meltdowns Need Stillness
How doing less can help your child through overwhelm.
Sometimes the most powerful support is simply staying.
When a child melts down, most advice tells parents to do more: talk more, correct more, fix more. This book explores what happens when the thing that helps most is doing less.
It looks at stillness, presence, regulation, adult anxiety, repair, and supporting children without shaming or controlling them, especially children who are autistic, ADHD, highly sensitive, or simply wired differently.
This book is still being written, so the final book page can grow with it rather than pretending it is finished.
